Antoinette “Toni” Gouaux

When families are struggling after the loss of a loved one, Antoinette “Toni” Gouaux is able to guide them through the probate process quickly and efficiently. A practicing attorney for 40 years, Toni draws upon her vast experience with successions to help clients draft their last will and testaments and assist with their estate planning.

She served as an Assistant District Attorney for fifteen years, was the first female appointed to serve in that capacity in Lafourche Parish, and in 1997 she was named First Assistant District Attorney. Committed to serving her community, Toni has served as the State Chair of the Louisiana Center for Women and Government's Leadership Council, President of the Lafourche Parish Bar Association, President of the Bayou Junior Woman's Club, Lafourche Commission on Women, Holy Savior School Board, and is past Secretary of the Louisiana Assistant District Attorney's Association's Board of Directors. She is a graduate of the University of Alabama and Southern University Law Center, where her father and two brothers also attended.
