Eugene "Bubba" Gouaux Jr.

Eugene “Bubba” Gouaux, Jr. has practiced law for 42 years. Throughout his decades of legal work, Bubba has helped guide Lafourche Parish families through a wide range of legal issues-- from buying their first homes, to representing them when they have lost a loved one in a wrongful death suit. When an injured person faces difficulty with an insurance company, Bubba steps in to ensure a fair result is reached. 

 

Bubba is an active member of the legal profession and the community at the local and statewide levels. He is a former President of the Lafourche Parish Bar Association and has served as Chairman of the Bayou Region Habitat for Humanity Board of Directors and on the Louisiana Bar Foundation Board of Directors. He was elected to two terms on the Lafourche Parish School Board and held the position of Chairman of the Lockport Fire District No. 2 for 25 years. Bubba is a proud alumnus of Nicholls State University, holding degrees in both business administration and personnel management. He was the chairman of the Nicholls Facility Corporation for a number of years – assisting with numerous campus development projects and was the legal counsel for the Nicholls Alumni Board. He graduated from Southern University Law Center where he met and fell in love with Toni over 40 years ago.

Bubba is a proud alumnus of Nicholls State University, holding degrees in both business administration and personnel management. He was the chairman of the Nicholls Facility Corporation for a number of years – assisting with numerous campus development projects and was the legal counsel for the Nicholls Alumni Board. He graduated from Southern University Law Center where he met and fell in love with Toni over 40 years ago.
